After suffering a tough loss in primetime to the division rival Detroit Lions, the Packers were hoping that a trip to Las Vegas could bring them some much needed luck. But the Silver City took back more than it gave as they dropped a close one 17-13.

The Packers have suffered through poor quarterback play through their two primetime games, as Jordan Love threw three picks, including the game ender. Through the last two games, Love’s thrown five interceptions to only one touchdown. Still the Packers defense helped keep the team in the game, largely locking up opposing quarterback Jimmy Garrapolo and all-pro wide receiver Davante Adams.

After a late missed field goal by the Raiders, Love had two minutes and one timeout to drive the team down the field for the game winning score. But from his opponents 35 yard line, Love threw his third interception of the day, sending the visiting Packers home with their third loss of the year.

With a 42-24 rout over the visiting Carolina Panthers, the Detroit Lions got off to their best start since 2011, moving to 4-1 on the season.

After the bye week, the Packers will look to bounce back and get to .500 as they head to Denver to face off against the 1-4 Broncos on Sunday, October 22th.
