To the excitement of most Wisconsinites, a seasonal forecast by the NOAA shows that the state is expected to have a much warmer and drier fall than normal. Leaving an extra couple weeks for residents to enjoy their favorite summer outdoor activities.

The data shows that Wisconsin has a 33 to 40 percent chance of being warmer than average fall temperatures. Furthermore, precipitation levels are not expected to be higher than normal and actually have a chance to be lower than normal.

These predicted patterns follow a heat wave that swept across the country earlier this summer causing record temperatures.
