It was another good month for the Badger State, as the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development released the latest local job figures for October. The report revealed a decline in unemployment rates across all 12 metropolitan statistical areas (MSAs) last month.

Several statistical areas make up the region, including the Appleton, Fond Du Lac, Green Bay, Oshkosh-Neenah, and Sheboygan areas. Across those areas, the unemployment rate decreased by 0.2 percent in Appleton, Fond Du Lac, Oshkosh-Neenah, and Sheboygan, and 0.3 percent in Green Bay. Unemployment rates were under three percent across all five areas.

Overall, the state’s cities and counties had a positive month, as unemployment rates declined or went unchanged in all 35 major cities and all 72 counties.
